Summary
The Sr. Technician, Assembly & Quality, has expert assembly skills to set-up process equipment correctly, inspect product, audit builds, and train and certify technicians. The candidate must have exceptional attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and an ability to learn quickly. This is a TEMP to PERM role.

Job Responsibilities
- Can correctly set-up basic production machines
- Inspect cells are various stages of assembly and verify equipment set-up
- Audit the cell assembly process and identify discrepancies from the standard operating procedure
- Use small equipment and hand tools to produce components and battery cells
- Operate large equipment safely and efficiently
- Measure materials with micrometer, mass scale, digital multi-meter, caliper, and other basic equipment
- Visually evaluate defects from a list of standard defects and based on general understanding of the product
- Input data into quality management software
- Assemble components into a physically complete cell
- Understands product function and quality requirements
- Able to train and coach other technicians in a constructive way
- Follow standard work instructions and recommend improvements
- Collaborates with engineers and managers to identify and remedy quality problems
- Intermediate level computer skills and ability to enter data accurately
- Takes responsibility for product quality
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details
- 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Required. Technical degree preferred.
- Salary: S25.00 to $40.00. Offer will take work experience, skills, training, in consideratione
