What You Will Do

In this role, you will support, develop, and negotiate subcontracts for the corporate team. Please also note this is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of working two days a week in our CORP HQ Reston, VA office.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform cradle to grave services subcontracts administration.
  • Support pre-award and proposal activity including the issuance of Request for Proposals (RFPs) to teammates, evaluating pricing and other subcontractor proposal documentation.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and issue subcontract documents and modifications including flow down requirements, and statements of work.
  • Prepare and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements (TAs).
  • Process and complete Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR)
  • Coordinate and complete procurement requirements including preparation of justifications, price/cost analysis, and negotiation memorandums.
  • Maintain and update subcontractor files for internal and external audits.
  • Complete subcontract closeout actions (upon receipt of all deliverable items and final payment).
  • Document the entire fact-finding and negotiation process.
  • Participate in program reviews.
  • Review and monitor payments, commitments, and funding status.
  • Provide subcontracts-related reporting and status, as required.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of related work experience or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of related work experience. Certification(s) from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) preferred.
  • Prior experience working as a subcontract administrator or subcontract manager with procurement experience supporting Federal Government clients.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Federal Government public trust level security clearance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Federal Government Contract Types, an advanced working knowledge of the FAR, working knowledge of standard commercial contract terms, professional services, property, and equipment contractual obligations is a plus.
  • Work experience with Federal Government contracting and procurement regulations.
  • Experience in negotiating price, terms and conditions, and multiple types of contractual agreements to include, but not limited to, Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Master Service Agreements, and Subcontracts.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.
  • Strong time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exercises discretion and good judgement in all things, especially regarding sensitive or confidential matters
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships with all staff and visitors.
