Hiring all different levels on Structural Engineers (Entry to Senior) (PE,SE)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• Minimum 5+ years' industry related experience at a structural engineering design or consulting company
Registered as a Professional Engineer is a PLUS (Or taking exams in the near future) SE for Senior level position is highly preferred
• Technical level of understanding of building types, building codes, and seismic lateral force-resisting systems in order to perform services of the organization with limited supervision
• Understanding of hazardous building types/features and site seismic hazards
• Experience with seismic evaluations according to ASCE 41-13 a plus
• Experience in design of structural repairs and overseeing retrofits. Experience in seismic retrofit design a plus
• Good understanding of Construction processes and activities
• Good understanding of building materials and methods
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel • Proficient in AutoCAD; BOX; Bluebeam, Revit.
