Objectives of this Role:
Assist in research, development and testing activities for lithium-ion battery cells, modules and packs.
Support test plan development, test execution, data analysis and reporting.
Testing can be focused on performance/life or safety.
Reporting can be through regular email updates to internal and external stakeholders, preparing presentations for customers and creating final reports in Word and PowerPoint format.
Assist with preparing quotes for proposals to include developing technical plan to solve customer problem and pricing materials, services and labor associated with that plan.
Build and maintain customer relationships through regular update meetings and informal discussions.

Requirements:
Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
Must have 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience or research as an Engineer or Research Assistant.
The 2 years of experience must include experience with Matlab/Python; LabView or GT-Suite.
The 2 years of experience must include conducting data analysis and post-processing on large amounts of data; and experience with National Instruments (NI) data acquisition hardware and software.
Must have published peer reviewed papers and conference presentations. Must travel 10% domestically and internationally.
