Are you a dynamic and experienced Project Manager ready to take on complex, enterprise-wide projects? We seek a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid role based in New York City. This consulting contract requires the candidate to live in the New York City metro area.
Job Summary
As a Senior Project Manager, you will plan, organize, and integrate large-scale projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise in project management, technical experience, and sound judgment will be crucial in achieving project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and foster relationships with internal clients and stakeholders
Understand clients' business processes to guide technology decisions effectively
Evaluate internal applications and conduct market research to recommend the best IT solutions
Prepare comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
Provide vendor management from project inception to completion
Oversee the Business Analysis process and develop rollout plans
Execute projects from start to finish, meeting with key stakeholders to understand current operations
Conduct JAD sessions or workshops to gather user requirements
Assist in the development of functional requirement documents
Maintain and update project schedules regularly
Conduct status meetings and report project status to stakeholders and executive management
Create presentations and conduct system/application demos for projects and stakeholders
Collaborate with an existing PM on in-flight projects
This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications:(Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)
Solid technical background with hands-on experience in application and network deployment
7+ years of experience as an IT project manager leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
Proficiency in managing SDLC Waterfall and/or Agile methodology projects
Extensively experienced in creating project management artifacts
Strong skills in gathering requirements, business analysis, and creating functional requirements documents
Experience managing web-based applications, particularly .NET and Java solutions using SQL Server
Experience working on cloud applications
