We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Sr. Project Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the successful planning, design, and execution of railway engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate should have a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in railway design and engineering.

Position Overview
- Direct and manage rolling stock and/or railway infrastructure engineering projects from concept to completion in passenger rail and/or freight rail.
- Develop rail engineering project plans and specs and manage installations for railway projects
- Coordinate engineering designs and activities with other departments and vendors
- Provide technical advice and guidance to stakeholders regarding railway engineering projects
- Conduct inspections of existing and proposed railway installations
- Develop railway engineering project budgets and monitor progress and expenditures
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead rail engineering project planning and design activities
- Manage and coordinate staff, resources, and vendors to ensure successful completion of railway engineering projects
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for railway projects
- Develop estimates and cost analyses for railway engineering projects
- Conduct inspections of existing and proposed railway installations
- Ensure all railway projects are completed in a timely and safe manner
- Professional Engineer (PE) license**
- Extensive knowledge and experience in railway design and engineering
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
