Sr Mgr, Information Security

Job Summary

Manage and oversee a team responsible for the organization��s Security Operations, Incident Response, and Compliance functions.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

• Oversee the development and execution of security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our organization's information systems, networks, and data assets.
• Lead the Security Operations team to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information assets and to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks and conduct periodic exercises to ensure the team is prepared to respond to security incidents.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as PCI, SOX, and privacy regulations (US).
• Provide regular reporting and communication to senior management on the status of security operations, incident response, and compliance efforts.
• Manages and provides technical and business direction that affects strategic planning.
• Tracks and uses metrics demonstrate success and identify improvement opportunities.
• Selects, develops, and motivates team.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or information security, or relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in information security with a focus on security operations, incident response, and compliance.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams of security professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM systems.
• Experience with security incident response and crisis management.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as PCI, SOX, CCPA, and NIST 800-53.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
