We are looking for a growth-oriented and highly motivated Sr. Manager to join our Merchant Attachment team to enable and develop pipeline for a world class Sales team. The Sr. Manager Database Marketing Operations position will be a multi-faceted and hands-on analytics role aimed at sharpening the insights and operations of PayPal’s Lead Generation engine for our channel partner and merchant business. This role oversee the lead generation operating model that powers PayPal’s merchant attachment efforts - developing, executing, and scaling programs that actively drive pipeline and deliver revenue for the business. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining successful relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Technology and Revenue Operations and must be capable of managing dependencies of varying complexity to drive growth.

The Sr. Manager Database Marketing Operations position will be a multi-faceted and hands-on analytics role aimed at sharpening the insights and operations of PayPal’s Lead Generation engine for our channel partner and merchant business. This role oversee the lead generation operating model that powers PayPal’s merchant attachment efforts - developing, executing, and scaling programs that actively drive pipeline and deliver revenue for the business. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining successful relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Technology and Revenue Operations and must be capable of managing dependencies of varying complexity to drive growth. This position will report to the Sr. Director of the new Merchant Attachment team.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Database Marketing on lead generation strategy that drives pipeline and creates sustainable revenue at scale.

Demonstrate strategic thinking and partnership with Database Marketing + Sales to ensure continued alignment and enablement.

Identify trends in the data and propose new omni channel campaigns that will drive more revenue to the company.

Support the development of new targeting models and approaches to optimize and scale our global lead generation machine.

Deliver reporting for impactful insights on accuracy and performance of campaigns through dashboards for daily usage and regular business performance reviews to executive leadership.

Have a strong understanding of the underlying CRM architecture and processes to aid in decision making.

Weekly collaboration with Database Marketing team and stakeholders on active and upcoming campaigns, effectively managing prioritization of campaigns and monitoring performance for quality (ROI, onboarding success, accuracy of identifying target audience, etc.).

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in B2B lead generation experience with global experience preferred

Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to optimize campaign performance and inform future strategies

Operational understanding (or willingness to learn) of sales processes and business operating models

Creative problem solver who can design solutions from qualitative and quantitative data

Demonstrated understanding of commercial data and how to leverage that to drive quality sales ready leads and opportunities

Proven experience with SQL, and statistical languages like R or Python.

Deep knowledge in relevant technologies: Salesforce, Teradata, Eloqua, JIRA, Excel

Ability to drive collaboration within a matrixed environment and thrive in an unstructured environment

Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport, influence, and deepen relationships with cross-functional team members

Strong and disciplined project management and process improvement capabilities

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $99300 to $216040
