The Sr. Manager, Marketplace Strategy & Operations will focus on accelerating the expansion of our gifting ecosystem by identifying and executing on opportunities to target new consumer audiences through the development and marketing of new product/service categories. This individual will oversee the P&Ls for our marketplace-oriented business lines and will be responsible for managing their respective day-to-day business operations along with both developing and executing on long-term growth plans.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage the P&Ls for the Enterprise’s portfolio of marketplace-oriented business lines, including Gifts & More, International, and External Marketplace Sales.
Identify opportunities to expand our gifting capabilities through both new and extended product/service categories.
Develop and execute on long-term business growth plans to capitalize on opportunities and accelerate revenue growth across the marketplace business lines.
Partner with internal leaders across departments and brands to execute day-to-day operations and drive growth initiatives forward.
Lead and accelerate the development of a highly talented marketplace team.
Present strategy briefs and status updates to Enterprise executive leadership.
Requirements:
10+ years of combined experience in marketing, digital product, analytics, customer experience, operations, or other related roles
5+ years of combined experience in traditional retail or e-commerce marketplace operations
5+ years of combined experience with e-commerce, digital, or app focused brands
5+ years of combined experience in P&L or business/brand management
Experience managing international brands/businesses is a plus
Exceptional analytics skills (writing SQL/Python is a strong plus)
Entrepreneurial/startup mindset
Ability to manage a portfolio of businesses/projects
Self-directed problem solver
Comfortable constantly iterating and innovating to drive results with limited resources
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
