Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior FP&A Manager on our Bakehouse finance team. The Senior FP&A Manager is responsible for overall FP&A activities including month end reporting, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Finance.

It is a highly visible role, which includes direct interaction with Business Unit & Functional Finance Leaders, the VP of Commercial Finance and FP&A, and BBU’s CFO as well as other members of BBU’s Senior Leadership Team.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Highly visible role and key member of the Commercial Finance and FP&A leadership team, which provides thought leadership and support to executive management, ensuring resource allocations are optimized
  • Develop and maintain a rolling forecast P&L (Net Sales through EBITDA) for BBU while coordinating with Business unit and functional finance teams to improve insights, assumptions, and forecast accuracy
  • Create forecast review decks to concisely explain key forecast drivers, risk/opportunities, and variance to Plan, Prior Forecast, & Prior Year to BBU’s Senior Leadership Team
  • Lead annual planning process across Bakehouse by working with the business units and various functional groups to organize planning calendar, document key assumptions/inputs, and assist in create reporting package for Senior Leadership.
  • Prepare internal financial reporting, earning variance analysis, and key drivers of actual results vs forecast, plan and prior year.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial operations through process changes and implementation of new technology.
  • Assist Senior Management with special projects to support strategic decision-making (e.g., what if" strategic analysis, business forecasting).
  • Develop decision support financial modeling and ad hoc financial analysis for relevant issues impacting the business
  • Provide strategic financial support for our Fresh Food Service business and assist senior leadership with improving the profitability of the business.

Position Requirements

Education and Work History:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting.
  • 7-10+ of progressive finance experience - MBA or CPA a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen required.
  • Highly motivated Self-starter with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team building and people development skills and a proven ability to work with a diverse group of people
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling and analysis skills and PowerPoint expertise.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase or other Financial Software products a plus.
  • Consumer packaged goods industry experience a plus.
