Senior Manager Credit & Collections

The primary duties of this role involve overseeing efficient operational controls and procedures to provide Credit & Collections services across various business units. This encompasses tasks such as assessing customer credit, approving sales orders, managing Accounts Receivable collections, processing customer payments, and executing strategic initiatives aligned with the goals and objectives of the Global Shared Services Accounts Receivable organization.

Responsibilities extend to contributing to the formulation of strategic direction and global delivery models, leading daily operations, upholding a robust control framework, reporting key performance metrics, spearheading projects, overseeing global service deployment, conducting limited financial analysis, preparing forecasts and budgets, and continually enhancing service offerings.

Ensuring the attainment of project objectives, including maximizing standardization and leveraging best practices, is paramount.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 15 years of progressive hands on Credit & Collections/AR experience.
  • Must have previous management experience.
  • Experience within a global corporate accounting environment
  • Shared Services experience preferred, not required
  • SAP experience required

Scope:

  • Provide oversight for the cash application, credit and collection departments including staff development. Responsible for managing Portfolio Performance.
  • Management and delivery of all Accounts Receivable and department KPI reporting deliverables; including performance improvement opportunity analysis
  • Implement business systems and processes that meet business requirements and enhance internal controls.
  • Implement strategic process improvements aimed at improving Accounts Receivable processes, lowering AR past due and improving cash collections
  • Service Enhancement/Continuous Improvement by implementing ongoing improvements/enhancements to daily processes
  • Manage and expand service growth through new business and merger and acquisitions
  • Service Cost/managing cost of operations

This position offers a base salary between $90,000 to $135,000. Eligible for annual bonus compensation along with full benefits, including employee stock purchase plan.
