Job Scope/Summary:

The Senior Epic Application Analyst performs the planning, design, build, validation, testing, and implementation of information systems that support and enhance clinical practice and business processes. Acts as the principal resource with clinical knowledge and computer expertise to coordinate and provide support for all new and current applications and software upgrades applicable to Epic systems.

Requirements/Certifications:

• At least 4 years’ experience providing systems analysis support required.
• Experience interacting with clinical or business areas to gather and understand workflow and technical requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Epic HB Certification + additional relevant certifications
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills required to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
• Strong skills in use of PC desktop applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements; requires occasional after-hours support and overnight travel.

Preferred Skills/Background:

• Experience in health care environments preferred.
• A clinical background in any discipline is highly desired. Pediatric experience preferred, or nurse desired for clinical application
• Clinical Licensure and/or other certifications preferred
