Role: Sr Health Data Architect

Contract to Hire

Possess strong problem-solving, influencing, communication, and presentation skills, and am a self-starter. My expertise lies in Data Architecture, Data Strategy, and Roadmap development for large and complex health entities and systems, having implemented large-scale, end-to-end Data Management & Analytics solutions for multiple significant clients. I have a robust knowledge of regulatory security requirements concerning HIPAA, PHI, PII, and other healthcare data security standards. My domain knowledge extends to Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial healthcare datasets. I am skilled in normalized OLTP, OLAP, MDM, and Dimensional modeling techniques, including Star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, role-playing dimensions, dimensional hierarchies, and data classification. My SQL skills are of an expert level, with experience in writing complex analytic queries, stored procedures, DDL, DML, and DCL. I possess a thorough understanding of query optimization techniques and can write code to ANSI standards as well as review code written by others. My expertise also encompasses Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Governance, Data Security, Metadata Management, MDM, Data Archival, and Data Migration strategies, utilizing the appropriate tools. I have hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and Azure Data Factory, as well as BI tools and reporting software. I have demonstrated the ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring simultaneously. I am capable of working independently and possess skills in planning, strategy, estimation, and scheduling. Additionally, I have experience with scripting languages used for analytics, such as Python or R.
