Primary Purpose: Independently manage accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate monthly financials for parent company and subsidiaries, profit analysis and elimination entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
  • Generate statement of cash flows for all entities, including foreign subsidiaries.
  • Perform monthly closing entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis for multiple subsidiaries.
  • Oversee cost accounting for manufacturing operations, analyzing income statement and balance sheet variances.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics related to manufacturing performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to compile data for accounting closing and variance analysis.
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate with external audit firm during annual audit processes.
  • Conduct physical inventory checks and reconcile variances semi-annually.
  • Prepare schedules for quarterly income tax estimates.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets register and calculate monthly depreciation.
  • Calculate Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss.
  • Support special projects as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and relevant laws.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to locations or customer sites as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in cost accounting within manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Ability to thrive in a hands-on, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Previous experience in industrial products or manufacturing businesses.
