Sr. Drafter/CAD Operator (REMOTE)

The Drafter/CAD Operator will be responsible for drafting complete and accurate drawings as required. The drafter/CAD operator fills in technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with electrical or electronic drafting
• Experience with computerized drafting applications (AutoCAD), SolidWorks, Inventor, Adobe), digital imaging techniques, and planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) experience is STRONGLY preferred.
• Active Security clearance is preferred, but not required.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Department of Defense (DOD) or technical illustration specific to US Navy applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of DOD or US Navy drafting and digital imaging standards, processes, procedures, and engineering terminology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
  

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED - AA preferred
