Nation Wide Search for SR. Director of Operations

Premier QSR Restaurant group is seeking a talented Sr. Directors of Operations with 3+ years of relevant management experience in food service, to oversee restaurant operations of 3-4 Director of Operations of QSR restaurants. Must have at least three years experience with direct P&L Responsibility for 100 or more QSR High Volume Concepts.


Must be willing to relocate to Texas or currently live in Texas.


The ideal candidate will be people and customer focused. They will work with a sense of urgency to serve the customer’s and their people’s needs. Must be able to multi-task, and will possess strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills.


The Sr. Director of Operations will lead a group of Directors and report to the COO. They are responsible for consistent day to day operations, forecasting, and planning successful operations, along with continuous people development.


Director Expectations include, but are not limited to:

  • Ongoing training/development of Directors, and District Managers.
  • Validate interviewing, hiring, and onboarding practices of region.
  • Bench Development/Succession Planning
  • Execution of administrative plans and systems (Complaint resolution, approval processes, etc.)
  • Period based business planning
  • Accountability for all controllable costs within budget including, but not limited to:
  • Food Cost
  • Labor Cost
  • Supplies Cost
  • Repairs and Maintenance Costs
  • YOY Sales, Transactions, and Profit Growth
  • Safe and Deposit Management


Accountability for all Operational Metrics including, but not limited to:

  • Overall Satisfaction (OSAT)
  • Speed of Service (SOS)
  • Restaurant Evaluation Visits
  • Customer Complaints through appropriate platform
  • Execution of Company Mandates
  • Marketing rollout planning and execution
  • Community outreach
  • Any tasks assigned by direct supervisors
  • Coaching and teaching Directors how to staff their markets.
  • Delivering high levels of P&L performance of each area and store.
  • Learning and being able to teach the Company’s Brand Standards
  • Teaching Sense of Urgency, and the importance of Speed of Service
  • Creating and managing budgets
  • All food safety procedures, in accordance with company procedures and health regulations, and understands how to take corrective actions as appropriate
  • Being highly visible in their stores and understanding how to prioritize and schedule their time depending on each areas needs.

Requirements:

  • Min 3 years QSR Director Level Operations experience (in high volume QSR concepts).
  • Proven track record of execution and the ability drive, and deliver results.
  • Provides strategic leadership to deliver a high level of customer service across all restaurants.
  • Demonstrates leadership competencies and ability to build strong teams.
  • Proven track record in financials, staffing, customer evaluation index results, food safety and voice of the customer program.
  • Must be able to drive business growth.
  • Excellent verbal, and written interpersonal communications.
  • Human Resource knowledge including employment state, federal laws, and regulations.
  • Understanding and execution of Succession Planning and Leadership Development.
  • Executes operational activities and Brand Standards at high levels.
  • Ability to create a vision for their team and see their team and operations from a "Big Picture," point of view.
  • Flexibility to work any days/shifts as needed.
  • Undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience.
  • We are looking for candidates with a STRONG BACKGROUND IN QSR EXPERIENCE.
  • Candidates must be hands-on Servant Leaders, this is a MUST for the job.
  • Building relationships within the community.
  • Valid DL in good standing.
