What you'll do
As the Senior Director of Finance IT, you are the visionary steward of our financial technology landscape, blending expertise in finance, technology, and product management to drive transformative change. Your role extends beyond traditional finance leadership, encompassing a strategic focus on shaping the product vision and roadmap for our financial technology platforms. With a keen eye for innovation, you harness cutting-edge IT solutions to realize our organization's financial objectives, driving operational efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Guided by product management methodologies, you orchestrate the development and implementing of robust financial technology solutions, ensuring alignment with our broader strategic goals and objectives.
Your agile mindset and proactive approach enable you to adapt swiftly to evolving market dynamics, leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you translate business requirements into actionable strategies, championing the delivery of high-impact solutions that drive measurable value. This position is people manager role reporting to the Vice President, Business Applications.
Responsibility
Develop and articulate a clear product strategy for our technology products
Define and communicate the long-term vision, ensuring alignment with industry trends and customer needs
Lead and inspire an impactful product management team, encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
Provide mentorship and guidance to IT product managers, solution leaders, helping them develop their skills and contribute to the success of the products
Apply deep expertise in SaaS ERP like Oracle and Zuora with experience in large-scale implementations in medium-sized to large companies
Propose, close, and deliver finance transformation roadmap for technologies and platforms across our Docusign Finance portfolio, partnering with the CFO organization to drive a modernization agenda
Understand the Docusign Finance business strategy and processes
Design and develop financial processes, roadmaps, and plans, socialize concepts, and liaison with teams for planning and implementation
Lead and drive all financial platforms and processes at Docusign
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development, launch, and support of products. Work closely with stakeholders to gather input and feedback, incorporating it into product strategy and roadmap decisions
Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap outlining key features, enhancements, and releases
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring products meet needs and remain competitive
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
Conduct regular market analysis and gather intelligence to inform strategy and positioning
Engage with partners to understand their needs, difficulties, and feedback related to products
Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through product improvements and innovative solutions
Manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish and help achieve the intended outcomes
Develop plans and help the teams stay on track by monitoring and providing ongoing awareness of product status (progress against key milestones, critical decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) to all collaborators
Anticipate and break down obstacles that prevent product teams from delivering on outcomes
Function well in a highly matrixed organization and synthesize direction from multiple sources
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
15+ years of related experience in large ERP solutions such as, Oracle and Zuora
10+ years of leadership roles with a track record of success in strategic planning, designing, and developing IT solutions specializing in Financial workflows
BA/BS degree in a business, finance or quantitative field
Experience with a deep functional and technical understanding of Invoice to Cash, Billing Subscriptions, Payments, Tax, treasury, and financial planning ERP modules
Experience with Oracle ERP platform and products
Experience working with Agile development methodologies
Experience with developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of digital initiatives, focusing on tangible and measurable outcomes
Preferred
MBA degree
Foundational knowledge of HRIS systems like Workday and ICIMS
Strong leadership and team management skills
Deep understanding of product management concepts and methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proactive and clear communicator and presenter
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $195,500.00 - $315,775.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $186,200.00 - $263,000.00 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $186,200.00 - $276,125.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
