Overview:

The Sr.Director-Community Sourcing will be responsible for sourcing & qualification activity that are within TELUS Artificial Intelligence Crowd Hiring and will report to VP of Operations AI. The leader will provide leadership support and guidance to a team of Sourcing professionals across the globe under AI. The Sr.Director Community Sourcing will be responsible to provide qualified candidates for Crowd and he/she will also be responsible for all Sourcing initiatives required to meet and exceed the needs of the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Translating the business strategy into a Sourcing strategy irrespective of the location
  • Ensuring the sourcing team is delivering for the business needs the highest quality resumes in the fastest time possible as well as developing and maintaining market specific intelligence relevant to AI Community /Crowd. The leader will have accountability for ensuring the sourcing model and coverage will be delivered to the yearly hiring plans.
  • The Sourcing Leader will develop relationships with multiple AI hiring leaders, Sales, Solutions team and be the subject matter expert for specialized crowd-sourcing needs.
  • The Sourcing Leader will regularly consult with business leaders, sales team and solutions team to develop a strategy to proactively source for all openings and talent pipelines across the globe and to ensure that all core recruiting KPIs are met. This will include documenting and reporting out on search progress, including candidate pipeline, diversity initiatives, market related trends etc.
  • The Sourcing Leader will be responsible for hiring, developing and retaining a team of top-class sourcing and qualification team members across all levels. Ensuring they are closely connected to the business and able to convey TI-AI story to the external market in a compelling way. Ensuring that the team is focused on determining new and innovative ways to source talent from new talent pools in line with the market transformation.
  • The Sourcing Leader will also champion the execution of a strong candidate experience and unbiased hiring process throughout the entire process – ensuring TELUS International is providing a world class candidate experience.


Qualifications:

  • A collaborative, strategic AI recruitment leader with strong people management capabilities and ability to partner closely with business leaders
  • Direct, relevant, and recent experience in leading a recruitment team in a high volume, fast paced recruitment environment, preferably within the AI and Crowd sourcing industry.
  • The ability to partner effectively at the Senior leadership team, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
  • This role requires strong presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities and innovation and creativity that will create growing employment brand awareness.
  • Experience in strategic planning & project management skills
  • Willingness to travel, as needed.

Education & Experience:


  • 3rd level qualification preferred
  • 12+ years recruitment experience with 6+ years of people management experience
  • Working knowledge of Workday & other ATS
  • Advanced level Excel

  • Remote - US


Pay:

The base compensation range for this position is USD $160,000 - $200,000 annually commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
