Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary consulting leader to join Launch as the Global Studio Leader/Practice Leader for our Cloud and Infrastructure Studio. In this Sr. director-level role, you will spearhead the entire practice, growing our business, driving strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and leading a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Cloud and Infrastructure Studio, guiding the team towards achieving business objectives and exceeding client expectations.
• Practice Development: Lead the development and implementation of best practices, methodologies, and standards within the Cloud and Infrastructure disciplines: Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Solutions, FinOps, and InfoSec, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives, and develop customized solutions that address their unique industries. Goal of 25% personal utilization as a lead on engagements.
• Team Management: Build and nurture a high-performing global team of cloud and infrastructure consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and expanding the studio's portfolio of services and offerings. Partnering closely with Launch’s Business Units and Sales on pursuits.
• Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud and infrastructure, and share insights and knowledge with internal teams and clients. Work with marketing and leadership to evangelize the CI Studios capabilities and stories.
• Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the studio, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

Qualifications:

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep expertise in cloud and infrastructure technologies, including cloud design solutions, infrastructure operations, security, compliance, and DevOps practices.
• Client-Focused: Strong client-facing skills with the ability to understand client needs, build relationships, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop business strategies, and drive revenue growth.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic Thinker: Strategic thinker with the ability to envision the future direction of the practice and develop plans to achieve long-term goals.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing team members to reach their full potential.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure roles, with at least 8+ years in a leadership or management position.
• Proven consulting experience is a prerequisite for this role. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of success in consulting engagements, preferably in the realm of cloud and infrastructure solutions
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.

The anticipated base wage range for this role is $200,000-$220,000. Education and experience will be highly considered, and we are happy to discuss your wage expectations in more detail throughout our internal interview process.
