Sr Data Analyst/SQL Developer (31632)

Myticas's direct client based in the greater Chicago region is currently seeking a Sr Data Analyst/SQL Developer for a Remote Contract Position.

Top 3-6 Required Skills/Experience:

1. Experience of writing SQL queries/coding
2. Maintenance & execution of trending platform like: Tibco and QlikView, using SQL programming
3. Experience with Redshift database.
4. Review and interpretation of ongoing business report requirements
5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for developing dashboards with the high volume of data
6. Development of procedures and scripts for data mapping for new products

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team remotely for a one-year contract. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to maintain and execute our trending platform using SQL programming, review and interpret ongoing business report requirements, and develop procedures and scripts for data mapping for new products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & execution of trending platform using SQL programming.
• Review and interpret of ongoing business report requirements.
• Research required data.
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Suggest new queries.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data mapping for new products.
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting.

Required Experience & Technical Skills/Education:

• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Experience of SQL coding.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Excellent understanding of SQL work bench.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of VBA macro development is also preferred.
