Job Description
Role Overview: As a fast growing B2B SaaS software company, Casepoint seeks an independent thinker and creative writer to create written content for product descriptions and briefs, blog content, white papers, case studies, e-newsletters, social posts, ads, email communications, and other Casepoint marketing assets. The Senior Content Writer will be a natural & passionate storyteller with strong communication skills to write, edit, and publish content daily.
This candidate will be an important part of our marketing team and an integral part of conveying our desired tone of voice to build credibility and thought leadership with our market. The Senior Content Writer will interface and collaborate with all teams, including sales, marketing, product, client service, and any agencies we collaborate with to create compelling content that helps differentiate our product and value to our different customer segments. We are looking for a person who loves to be challenged every day; someone who thrives digging in and shifting gears client by client and campaign by campaign to deliver results by leveraging strong organization skills, communication skills, and project management skills.
This is an individual contributor role that balances strategic thinking with a high volume of content creation. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams and you will report directly to our\ Product Marketing Manager. You will bring high levels of energy, passion, tenacity, technical savvy, curiosity, and conscientiousness.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead copywriting and editing efforts for:
Work closely with internal and external SMEs (subject matter experts) to produce strategic creative solutions, develop concepts, and write copy for a variety of marketing projects
Understand and utilize the Casepoint brand guidelines and tone of voice
Maintain a calendar of content projects and deliverables
Juggle multiple assignments and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Assist with editing and optimizing content for SEO purposes
Support content marketing and email marketing programs as a part of our Account Based
Marketing approach; this requires daily attention
Candidate Requirements
Bring a minimum of 5 years of professional writing experience (clips and writing samples will be requested at initial interview with at least 3 for SaaS and/or tech companies)
Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree; Marketing, Communications and Journalism degrees preferred along with a high technical acumen
Be a seasoned creative leader and great storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills
Must have the strong desire to constantly learn and become a SME (subject matter expert) in legal technology and the eDiscovery industry (previous experience desired but not required)
Account-based marketing and email marketing experience, particularly with Hubspot
Think strategically and develop creative copy concepts to support Casepoint’s marketing initiatives
Familiarity with online publishing and can handle the content from creation to posting
Excellent project management skills
Ability to manage time and establish priorities while remaining flexible to respond to evolving demands
A master of grammar and can adapt to different tones/styles of writing
Are conscientious, detail-oriented, efficient and can multitask
Care about the performance and optimization of all of your content
Ability to turn around copy quickly without sacrificing quality of work
strongly preferred (creative agency and brand campaign writing a plus)
Experience in the legal field, eDiscovery, or legal tech is preferred, but not required
