Sr. Construction Manager - Hotel / Multi-Family

We are a nationwide Construction Management Firm who works in the Public and Private sector. We manage the construction for our clients who include Private Developers, VA System, Institutional Facilities, Government Agencies, among others.


We have an immediate for 2 experienced Sr. Project Managers to join a high profile mixed use high-rise project in Columbus, OH. This project includes retail, luxury residential, hotel facility including luxury spa, and will tie to a historic building next to the project.


One Sr. PM will be responsible for managing the build of the hotel and amenities. The other Sr. PM with oversee the build of the luxury residential condo's.


These are DIRECT HIRE positions supporting a very long term project!


Responsibilities:


Sr. Project Manager will be required to learn and integrate our company's best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and operations in the hospitality environment. Sr. PM will act as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, and contractors). This individual needs to have a proactive nature to anticipate next steps. This is a high paced project with an aggressive schedule. A summary of the major tasks are listed below:


  1. Monitoring project financial data and budgetary cost accounting
  2. Construction scheduling analysis and phasing support
  3. Progress Meetings
  4. Identify and mitigate risks on the project
  5. Issue resolution
  6. Managing Testing and Inspection Services
  7. Maintains daily progress reports and inspection reports. Leads the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.
  8. Performing additional construction-related services
  9. Claims analysis and resolution services


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture from an accredited University.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience with a focus on commercial ground-up high-rise facilities, post-tension concrete, and steel structures.
  • Knowledge: Able to quickly understand and master
  • Requirements of local state and federal jurisdictions in relation to the Project.
  • Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.
  • Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling to lead to the project’s success.
  • Leadership: Must possess the skill set and competency to supervise and manage personnel of diverse skill sets.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with developer-led projects
  • Experience in high-rise hospitality, luxury apartments, luxury clubs, etc.
  • PE, RA/AIA, CCM, PMP certifications
  • Seniority level
