Summary:
Sr Communications Manager - Technology Delivery Execution will oversee the development and execution of a communication strategy supporting the Success Factors implementation program. This project hire role will be responsible for creating and delivering communication materials that contribute to a seamless transition for HR teams and other SF end user groups from Workday to SAP Success Factors.

The position will report to Director, Technology - SF Delivery Lead but will work daily and be accountable to the Technical Change Manager. This person will lead every stage of communication for the Success Factors implementation project, collaborating with subject matter experts to develop effective communication content for the targeted audience and also working closely with corporate communicators throughout the organization to ensure strategy alignment and best practices.

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and strategic communicator who is able to quickly establish relationships, draft content and plans, and implement with various partners throughout the organization. The role is a great opportunity to lead all aspects of employee communication efforts, while also developing a comprehensive strategy for project support and implementation. This will also provide the candidate the chance to identify all key stakeholders' desired outcomes, utilizing metrics to measure success, while also coordinating input and sign-off on deliverables from program, business, and enterprise stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic communications for the Success Factors implementation program that are comprehensive, clear, and contribute to a seamless system implementation for all involved.
  • Create and draft both written and visual content materials for broad distribution and for executives as part of the communication efforts and work with various partners and leaders for needed approvals.
  • Coordinate and potentially directly manage a network of communications partners, (both internally and externally with vendors) to develop and execute communications plans at-scale.
  • Work with key partners (potentially including internal communication executives as needed), to develop messages, narrative, and positioning to build awareness and understanding of milestones, policies, and impacts related to the initiative for leaders and employees.
  • Collaborate and support project teams with ad hoc communication needs.
  • Work closely with the Employee Communications and Engagement team to ensure all communications are in sync with client communications and priorities.
  • Work closely with the program team to track, analyze and report progress and status to the program leadership.
  • Assist with other communication related special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, executive communications, or project management.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with maturity and confidence in working with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing large scale communication strategies and projects.
  • Self-motivated, natural leader who can manage team members and workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into concise and engaging content for a variety of audiences and voices.
  • Excellent grammar skills and experience with copy editing along with an eye for design
  • Well organized and trustworthy with a high level of discretion.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint/Keynote, Excel, Outlook, and other technology solutions for communication needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in both internal and external communications as well as project management.
  • Basic understanding of design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Knowledge or basic understanding of SAP Success Factors (preferred)
  • Ability to articulate complex technical verbiage of interfaces and systems in an easy-to-understand way for a non-technical audience
