Sr Business Technical Analyst - SQL programming, Power BI, SSRS, SSIS ID

We have a 6 month contract to hire position open. The position is remote and the candidate can sit anywhere in the US. The department needs a Senior BTA(Business Technical Analyst) for gathering requirements, testing , developing reports, Create Complex SQL Scripts, Build SSIS, Create Visualization Report, Troubleshoot processes.

Candidate must have

1. strong SQL skills,

2.- More than 3 years of Power BI experiences.

3.- More than 2years of Oracle experiences.

4.- Familiar using Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 plus

5.- GitLab

6.- PL/SQL

7.- SSIS (ETLS)

day to day responsibilities

Purpose: Support technical automation of network adequacy reporting and scenario modeling that could assist with meeting extensive network adequacy requirements, identify root causes of gaps, and support quicker resolution of system issues and gap closure. Create data insights and analytics for Ambetter directory accuracy, identify areas of concern for Health Plan and/or Shared Services remediation (i.e., invalid data, missing data, duplicate data, stale data, etc.) (1 resource).

Require Skills:

• More than 4 years of PBI experience
• More than 4 years or SQL
• More than 3 years of SSIS, SSRS experience
• More than 2 years of Oracle experience

Responsibilities:

• Develops ad-hoc reports to conduct data analysis and validation.
• Confers with area/department to analyze current operational procedures and trends and identify problems.
• Conducts business analysis and recommends technical alternative solutions to management as to course of action that best meets the organization's goals.
• Research, evaluate and assess the financial impact of issues identified in data/processes.
• Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems.
• Acts as subject matter expert to provide business and technical expertise in requirements solicitation, system analysis, technical design, programming and documentation of business applications/systems.
• May be responsible for monitoring and reporting to management on the status of departmental projects: Anticipates and identifies issues that could inhibit achieving the project goals and objectives, and implementing corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
• Provides oversight and resolves complex issues, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow-up on identified issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards

Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:

• Strong SQL skills to create script for testing UAT projects
• Data Visualization skill to produce Medicare, marketplace reports
• Excellent team player to collaborate with the team

• Required 4+ years of experience in SQL programming language (Store Procedures, Triggers, Indexes, Functions, Cursors, Dynamic SQL, Views, Joins, Performing Query Optimization)
• Optional 2+ years of experience of creating Web applications
• Required 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence tools (BI Tools) such as: Power BI, and SSRS
• Required 2+ years of experience in relevant programming to include Python, C#, PLS/SQL or Oracle (or similar depending upon departmental requirements)
• Required 1+ years of experience using TFS or GIT
• Required 2+ years of experience in building, Maintaining and creating complex ETLs using Microsoft Visual Studio 2017

SSIS (ETLS)

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Education Preferred:

MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of related experience
