Position Description

The Sr Business Analyst - WMS is a business analyst who serves as a liaison between the McKesson Medical Surgical Distribution Center Technology and the Corporate Operations teams. This role is a key player in the development and maintenance of the software systems that run the McKesson Medical Surgical distribution centers. This person will participate in the definition of opportunities to enhancement the system and then participate in the design and testing of the proposed solutions. The role also will help maintain the currently deployed system by trouble shooting issues and providing customer support for our business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide analysis supporting the MMS Warehouse Systems

· Serve as a technical advisor for initiatives related to the MMS RF Warehouse Systems

· Work directly with business and IT teammates to define and test development initiatives

· Document designs and test results related to development initiatives

· Follow Scaled Agile Framework guidelines

Provide technical support

· Provide technical production support as needed for the warehouse systems

· Work closely with internal applications support and other IT teams as needed to resolve system issues in a timely manner

Provide training and mentoring

· Utilize warehouse systems and business knowledge to serve as a mentor for IT and Operations team members who need assistance understanding processes

Self-development

· Continuously improves skill set by keeping up with current technical trends and solutions

Minimum Requirements

· 7 years experience working as a Business Analyst

Critical Skills

· 7+ years of experience working with and supporting warehouse management systems

· 7+ years of experience as a business analyst including requirements definition and testing

· Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework

Additional Knowledge & Skills

· Broad knowledge of warehouse systems and how they relate to the business specifically utilizing the Blue Yonder application

· IBM DC Connect knowledge

· IBM DB2 knowledge

· SQL experience

· JD Edwards E1 experience

· Scaled Agile Framework certification

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Ability to troubleshoot RF Warehouse systemic or process issues, propose solutions, and manipulate data when needed

· Ability to understand user requirements and communicate them in an appropriate manner to other team members

· Ability to manage many tasks at once and prioritize accordingly

· Strong time management skills and ability and drive to bring in projects ahead of time

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
