The Senior Brand Manager will embrace an ownership mentality, demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter, be a cross-functional leader, driver of results, and have a strong ability to communicate and influence all levels of leadership. This position will have cross functional leadership across departments with a focus on guiding and delivering the topline business objectives of The Honey Pot Company. The individual in this role should be comfortable making recommendations to drive and redirect the business and approach business opportunities and challenges with a strategic vision. This position requires strong project management skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a desire to create high-impact strategic guidance. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to make significant contributions to the growth, strategy, and success of a rapidly growing organization!


What You’ll Do:


  • Develop and executes the annual and long-range plan along with financial targets. Establishes business objectives, strategies, and execution guidelines to achieve strategic goals. Leads the P&L to drive KPIs of volume, net revenue, segment profit margin, and consumer conversion.
  • Lead brand equity development and consumer targeting strategies to achieve consumer and business objectives. Develops brand architecture, value propositions, positioning, and tone of voice. Works with cross-functional partners and agencies to guide media, promotion, campaigns, etc.
  • Create channel-based strategies and content in conjunction with the Sales department to assist in addressing customer category/brand opportunities and partners with category management on strategic selling. Monitors marketplace dynamics and implements corrective action when and where necessary.
  • Develop shopper marketing programs to support launches, campaigns, in-store activations, and assortment opportunities.
  • Closely partner and consult with innovation team to ensure alignment with outlined growth strategy. Analyzing consumer trends, core messaging, and packaging VIS-ID.
  • Foster relationships with Marketing, Strategy & Insights, Design, Finance, and Project Management to lead commercialization of renovation and maintenance projects.
  • Apply business analytics (equity, share, volume and revenue drivers, competition) to drive business strategy & execution.
  • Perform ad-hoc and strategic guidance across key company initiatives and special projects.

  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills; ability to leverage syndicated data sources to assess competitive space, bringing forth insights and recommendations to integrate into overall strategy.
  • Experience in agency management & cross-functional team management; a connector who can work collaboratively.
  • Self-starter with the ability to align priorities towards business goals. Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive team player, able to work closely with cross-functional groups, anticipate and react to changes quickly.
  • Strategic thinker and storyteller, able to identify trends and opportunities through analysis and convey actionable plans in a digestible and clear manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams and experience managing multiple stakeholders.




What you need:


  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills to internal/external partners. Experience creating and delivering presentations to key business stakeholders.
  • Consumer centric & growth mindset.
  • Experience in agency management & cross-functional team management; a connector who can work collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience with syndicated databases: i.e. Nielsen, Circana (IRI), SPINS.
  • Experienced in shopper panel databases: i.e. Numerator, Nielsen, Circana (IRI), and/or loyalty card platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a strategic marketing role; CPG experience preferred.




WORKPLACE CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:


Regularly works in a modern business office environment, may occasionally work out of retail shop locations or other off-site locations. Full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday. This position may infrequently require longer hours and weekend work.
