What you'll be doing?

As a Sr. Accountant, you will perform a variety of duties as outlined below and work with the team to improve processes and internal controls. To accomplish this, you bring a thoughtful and consultative approach to the job.

In This Role, You Will

• Enter journal entries as appropriate. Manage aged receivables and payables
• Participate in month and year-end processes and reconciliations
• Create invoices based on contracts and timesheets
• Assist in the collection of data and file State and Local taxes
• Participate in the financial audit
• Provide merger and acquisition support
• Manage compliance issues for the business to ensure we’re adequately registered and reporting in all jurisdictions where we do business
• Assist in complex calculations such as goodwill impairment and equity compensation
• Provide back-up support to payroll
• Document processes and procedures
• Collaborate with business partners in multiple offices to maintain consistent and accurate financial information
• Other duties as assigned
  
  
  

We Want You To Have

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification
• Foundational GAAP knowledge
• 3 years minimum in a Sr. Accountant role
• 2 years of payroll experience
• Experience in compliance requirements and reporting
• Advanced Google sheet/excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, sum-ifs, etc.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• A kind and collaborative attitude

• Intacct/Sage experience
• M&A due diligence experience

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this contract position is $45/hr to $70/hr. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
