Sr. Account Manager: Business Development

Logistics Reply is seeking a Senior Account Manager: Business Development to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate directly with the company's head to identify and engage new customers, understand requirements, and build custom solutions. The ideal candidate will come with extensive experience in the Supply Chain domain, and a strong IT background. The experience is essential for fostering and expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with potential clients to understand their supply chain challenges and requirements, providing expert advice and solutions tailored to their unique needs
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our supply chain applications and solutions, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages
  • Collaborate with the product development team to relay customer feedback and help shape future product offerings
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the supply chain domain to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and case studies, showcasing the success stories and value added by our applications
  • Manage the pre-sales and sales process from initial contact through to closing of deals, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and other promotional activities, representing the company and networking with potential clients


Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and pre-sales, specifically within the technology and supply chain management
  • Strong Supply Chain-related background, with a deep understanding of various business contexts, especially in the warehouse management area
  • IT Technical background with a deep understanding of systems and technologies involved in solution deployment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels of an organization
  • Creativity and dynamism in problem-solving and developing sales strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple prospects and projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Relevant professional certifications are a plus
