Ultimate Staffing is seeking candidates for a long-term, full-time TEMPORARY role for a Sponsorship & Grants Coordinator for a non-profit in Rockville, MD. This position is primarily REMOTE but will require the candidate to go into the office once every two weeks. This position will pay $33-36 per hour depending on experience.
The person in this role will provide efficient and effective management for sponsorships and federal grants administration for in-person and online conferences.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Establishes guidelines and compliance procedures for conference stakeholders regarding the fundraising (grants and sponsorship) process. Drafts documents and other fundraising resources.
- Provides training to organizer volunteers on the disbursement of sponsorship funds while maintaining spending compliance.
- Guides volunteer conference chairs on grants submission and fundraising practices.
- Maintains records and files for federal and private sponsorship activities. Coordinates efforts with accounting to maintain financial reporting on all federal and non-federal awards and sponsorships. Tracks funds received and pending; notes all sponsor stipulations. Completes and submits post-meeting program and financial reports to federal and non-federal sponsors.
- Manages the sponsor benefits brochure and sponsor contracts/agreements. Handles overall fulfillment of benefits.
- Coordinates the review, assembly, and submission of federal grant applications; provides instructions and guidance to organizers on non-federal grant application requirements/submissions and other funding requests.
- Drafts policies and procedures for screening, selection, notification, and disbursement of federally funded travel awards (pre and post awards).
Requirements:
- 3-5 years grant/ sponsorship administration and reporting experience
- Knowledge and ability to apply for conference funding from NIH, foundations, and corporations
- Ability to meet deadlines and retain composure in stressful situations
- Sponsorship/Fundraising techniques and strategies and budget preparation skills
- Skilled in MS Office, Adobe, and database management and experience with project planning/ sharing software, a plus
