The Speech Therapist will report directly to the Rehabilitation Team Manager. Supported by a large team of senior speech therapists, this person will join a fantastic hospital in their rehabilitation services as well as have the opportunity to grow in their skills and career.
The Speech Therapist will be diligent in performing patient assessments and developing a plan of care. This requires having a high level of understanding in how to provide care to patients with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice and other cognitive related disorders. In addition, the Speech Therapist will be able to work independently and efficiently. Most importantly, the Speech Therapist will be responsible for utilizing the rehabilitation process to promote and restore health to the well-being of the patient. The ideal candidate will hold a current Speech Language Pathologist Certification.
