Job Description Theracare is currently seeking a motivated Speech Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in the Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Independent Living setting. Easy access to local regional management staff for support Flexible scheduling Be a part of a dedicated therapy team PTO accrual for 15 plus hour per week 401K with Match/ESOP Participation for 20 plus hours ave per week Qualifications The Speech/Language Pathologist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care. QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Current state license/certification Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation New graduates are welcome to apply Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements Additional Information Work/Life Balance.
