Specialist, Talent Acquisition

  • As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at IVC, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with our Manager of Talent Acquisition, HR team, and leadership to align business strategies with talent needs. Your primary focus will be on recruiting top-tier talent to ensure our organization maintains a competitive edge in the industry. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing candidates, utilizing various recruitment methods and strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager of Talent Acquisition, HR team, and hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) effectively to manage recruitment processes and candidate information.
  • Implement proactive sourcing techniques to identify and engage with passive candidates through networking, social media, referrals, and other channels.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities to attract qualified candidates.
  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies tailored to local markets to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Facilitate the interview process, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, when necessary, to support high-volume recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve processes and strategies.
  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to hiring manager regarding the talent acquisition process regarding interviewing skills, and candidate review meetings, drive the process and influence outcomes.
  • Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.  
  • Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work. 
  • Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive, full-cycle recruitment experience required, preferably, manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in an environment of multiple and changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products as well as ATS systems.
  • Well versed in social networking recruiting venues.
  • Ability to proactively network and build strong relationships within/outside the organization.
  • Strong communication skills required as well as the ability to work with all levels in the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide and evaluate metrics.
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to think strategically and align recruitment initiatives with broader business objectives, anticipating future talent needs and developing proactive solutions.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a culture of partnership and knowledge sharing.
