Specialist, Social Outreach
Wings for Life USA funds the most promising spinal cord injury research in the United States, with a clear mission to find a biological cure for spinal cord injuries. The Social Outreach team of Red Bull Media House North America, Inc. provides operational support to Wings for Life USA, which is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Social Outreach (CEO, Wings for Life USA), you as the Specialist, Social Outreach (Defensive Line) will provide critical project management and strategic analysis for Wings for Life USA. The role will require leadership in the development and implementation of high impact fundraising programs across departments, ensuring alignment of deliverables and allocation of resources. You will develop relationships across geographies to maintain the cultural pulse of the charity in the United States. The role requires both strategic framing and project execution.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Provide project management support (coordinate logistics and enhance methodologies) from concept to execution for key fundraising initiatives in the USA Partner with project leaders in Philanthropy Programs, Events & Partnerships, and Mar/Comm to track project milestones, targets, and resource needs Suggest and implement improvements to fundraising programs to support goals, increase ROI, and deliver a premium donor experience Stay informed about relevant trends, develop best practices, and monitor new technologies to lead enhanced outreach and community engagement
STRATEGIC PLANNING & ANALYSIS
Contribute to the development of long-term strategic objectives and KPIs across charity segments and functions Support CEO and Board of Directors in developing scorecards and tools that assist each department (Philanthropy Programs, Events & Partnerships, Mar/Comm) in assessing fundraising performance Engage & help to secure partnerships both internally and externally Develop improvements to the annual BP process to increase focus, automation, accountability, and empowerment while ensuring alignment across departments Support departments in developing, analyzing, and maintaining the Salesforce database

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 1-3 years of experience in development and project management
- Bachelors in business, Marketing, Finance or related field
- Strong project management skills
- Analytic and business acumen – reflected in successful project completion
- Adept at facilitating meetings and communications
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Develop improvements to the annual BP process to increase focus, automation, accountability, and empowerment while ensuring alignment across departments
- Support departments in developing, analyzing, and maintaining the Salesforce database
