Hourglass Cosmetics is committed to quality products and superior customer service in all aspects of our business. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Regulatory Affairs, this role is responsible for managing and overseeing the regulatory compliance of the company’s products. This includes preparing and submitting regulatory documents, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, and ensuring that all products meet both domestic and international regulations.

This includes preparing and submitting regulatory documents, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, and ensuring that all products meet both domestic and international regulations.
What You Do
- Generate and maintain documents necessary for registration purposes.
- Assist in reviewing ingredients and formulas (Cosmetics and OTC) for compliance (USA, EU, China, Canada, Australia, etc.)
- Review artwork for compliance and collaborate with Creative team for revisions if needed.
- Maintain the technical dossier for all products and ensure all needed requirements are received from Suppliers.
- Assist in EU registration for new products and reformulations.
- Assist in China registration for new products and reformulations.
- Register new products and reformulations internationally and collaborate with marketing team for assortment needed to register in each country.
- Maintain Regulatory database for new launches and existing.
- Manage testing for new products which includes receiving sample shipments from Suppliers or Product Development team, creating submission forms for samples to ship to labs, requesting start, interval and end dates to track reports, and reviewing and saving the reports for internal records.
- Additional projects as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of Regulatory Affairs experience or a related field within Cosmetics, Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals or Consumer Goods.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in regulatory software and databases is a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time.
