The Literary & Material Production Editor will assist with ENGL 1820 Publication Studies class and ENGL 1830 Literary Magazine Studies class. The literary & material production editor primary duties will include working under the direction of course faculty to assist in editing print and web editions of the Folio magazine and assist with Publication Studies projects including the chapbook and other book forms. Below is a description of the specific duties and desired qualifications.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties
Under direction of the course faculty:
Coordinate selection and editing/proofreading of literary submissions for Folio
Coordinate with Folio faculty advisor to create meaningful opportunities for staff participation in publishing Folio
Assist Publication Studies course instructor with the chapbook contest and other Publication Studies projects
Report to course faculty weekly
Attend all class meetings and participate in class activities and discussions
Attend the Folio and Publication Center Advisory Board meetings
work 10-20 hours a week
