We are looking for a qualified Special Education (SPED) Teacher for a remote position in Texas to provide crucial support to K-12 students through live videoconferencing. As an independent contractor, you'll receive specialized software, training, and technical assistance to effectively deliver special education services online.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
Texas teaching certification in Special Education
Experience with IEP development and implementation
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Bilingual proficiency (preferred)
Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
Provide direct instruction and support to students via virtual platforms
Collaborate closely with school teams, parents, and caregivers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
Requirements
Must provide your own liability and general insurance
Comfortable with being an independent contractor
Home computer with high-speed internet
Ability to pass a basic tech screening
