Job Title: Special Education Consultant

Location: Cheyenne Eagle Butte School, Eagle Butte, SD 57625

Schedule: To be determined

Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in special education, psychology
  • State certification in special education or a related area
  • experience working in special education, with progressive responsibilities, such as teaching, program development, or leadership roles

Duties:

  • Program Development and Evaluation: Develop, implement, and evaluate special education programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Training and Support: Provide training and professional development to special education staff and general educators on special education practices, integration strategies, and the use of assistive technology
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in the allocation of resources, including staff, materials, and funding, to meet the needs of special education programs
