Duration: 6 months - potential for extension
Hours: 8am - 5pm pr 7:30am - 4:30pm M-F
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for sourcing of all primary components, secondary, and other materials to support assigned new launch and ongoing projects
Ability to quickly ascertain project scope, requirements and work with suppliers to identify the right products
Collaborate with vendors to develop creative, customized secondary structures tailored to project requirements to support retail sales objectives
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with multiple suppliers
Strong negotiation skills to ensure optimal pricing, MOQ (minimum order quantity), payment terms and pricing agreements for all new projects
Achieve all key project deliverables, dates and project deadlines by working cross functionally with various internal departments to ensure project progression/completion -sampling, testing, qualification, documentation and approval requirements through project completion
Active participant all cross-functional meetings to communicate progress with respect to sourcing actions to ensure seamless product development and on-time launch.
Manage all supplier quotes, working with Finance to ensure compliance within cost targets. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to generate options for any cost exceptions to achieve target attributes.
Manage all updates/inputs for all trackers, BOMs (bill of material), etc. to ensure in compliance with current pricing, specifications, etc.
Seek new suppliers and packaging opportunities for potential future development
Qualifications:
2-3 years sourcing manager or PM exp in color cosmetics
Proven ability to help move products to the finish line
Experience with identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating cost-effective contracts that meet the company's procurement objectives
Experience managing costs, analyze and direct procurement costs and expenditures, and create cost estimates and forecasts
