Sourcing Manager

Job Description

The Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in the driving ILIA’s sourcing strategy and will require high collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to effectively manage all components within assigned new programs from RFQ stage, development, business award, launch and replenishment. The role assists with new vendor vetting and onboarding as well as vendor management and performance review. Our ideal candidate will be able to perform strategic sourcing and procurement activities across multiple categories of spend to improve the profitability of assigned franchises.

This role is REMOTE for candidates in Southern California.

Responsibilities:

• Assign, lead and manage assigned vendor Corrective Actions to improve performance, sustainability and corporate responsibility practices, and financial liabilities.
• Own franchise costing down to the raw material level for all BOM parts as launch programs progress from ideation and target phases through product development and ultimately through final approvals
• Mitigate company financial liabilities through price change analysis and negotiation
• Review and analyze sourcing data, market trends, benchmarking best practices and maintain market awareness to provide continuous improvements for sourcing strategies
• Provide regular updates on category strategies and supplier relationships, including KPIs and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to lead execution strategies for inventory management, quality and service performance
  
  

Job requirements

• 4+ years of Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations experience in CPG
• Strong analytical skills: able to transform data into clear, relevant solutions and recommendations
• Ability to prioritize, schedule, organize daily tasks against long-term goals
• Advanced negotiation skills and ability to gain concessions without damaging relationships
• Ability to effectively present information to various groups
• Intermediate experience with Excel; Netsuite experience a plus
