What You'll Do
As a Sourcing Director for Indirect Categories, you'll be a key player in driving cost savings and efficiency within our organization. Your role involves:
Value Analysis: Evaluate requisition requests and determine the need for sourcing events or contract negotiations.
Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Negotiation & Contracting: Lead the sourcing process, negotiate terms, and support contract creation in collaboration with business owners and key stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with service line leaders on products and standards, facilitating reviews with clinical advisory boards as needed.
Cost Management: Coordinate and integrate cost management programs across various departments, ensuring effective implementation.
What You'll Need
Education: A high school diploma is required, but a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in purchased services, demonstrating strong communication, contract management, and negotiation skills. Oracle experience is a plus.
