WORKDAYS/HOURS:
Full Time, 8-hour shift plus overtime pay. Weekends as needed.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a solar service technician, you will provide expert-level installation services and repair, while delivering the highest-caliber of customer service.
What you’ll do:
Earn a competitive hourly wage
Become an expert on smart home technology by training on industry-leading products
Manage inventory and assets with a business owner mentality
Install, service, and troubleshoot cutting-edge smart home technology in customer homes
JOB DUTIES:
Removal and reinstallation of an existing system
Full inspection and documentation before starting work
Removing all panels, racking, and storing it neatly
Returning to site once the roofer is done so you can lead the reinstallation
Reuse the panels and rail systems
Critter work: lift panels, blow out nest, wrap the array in Heyco or SolaTrim depending on customer preference
Effectively communicate with customers to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with solar panel installation and possess strong communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 Years Troubleshooting residential or commercial systems (SMA, SolarEdge, Enphase, Tesla etc.) Commercial experience preferred but not required
Phenomenal Customer service and ethics
Must have valid Driver’s License
Maintain a clean work vehicle
Must be punctual
The ability to work cross functionally with management, customers, and other team members
Solar removal and reinstall experience.
Available to sometimes work some Saturdays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Must be comfortable getting and off a roof, including the ability to use a ladder.
Compensation
Hourly Wage based off experience between $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
