Job Description:
This person will work within HellermannTyton’s Solar Team, acting as the cable-messenger system (CMS) specialist. They will identify targets for developing and closing opportunities for HellermannTyton CMS products. They will provide high-level technical support during both pre-and post-sale activities. They will work to a) manage customer needs, b) grow and close sales opportunities, and c) help steer internal efficiencies to provide top-level customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and be able to provide guidance to customers regarding cable messenger system (CMS) product set for utility-scale solar sites
Understand and be able to convey expertise in both mechanical and electrical aspects of our solutions
Be committed to excellent customer service including pre- and post-sale deliverables, to include board-room presentations all the way to in-field installation guidance
Manage customer needs within the scope of pre-existing account relationships
Works closely with market specific field sales team, customers, and potential customers to innovate new product and program solutions for the market. Utilizing regular field and customer visits, analyze current market activities and challenges - with intentions of delivering differentiated solutions to increase market share.
Always hold on-site safety in the highest regard
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and customer interactions.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Enthusiasm for the manufacturing industry and a passion for contributing to the growth of a market-leading company.
Prior solar experience (utility-scale preferred)
Other Job Requirements (preferences):
Lives near National airport
Field experience in solar (utility-scale or commercial)
Prior knowledge of solar EBOS preferred
Travel up to 50%
