Job Summary:

  • The Solar Sales Analyst is at the forefront of customer acquisition for Melink Solar and plays a vital role in identifying target customers and markets. As a Solar Sales Analyst Intern at Melink Solar, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and business development efforts by utilizing cutting-edge software tools to analyze solar markets across the United States. You will be responsible for evaluating potential customers and conducting market research to generate high-quality leads for our sales team

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced software tools and databases to analyze and evaluate solar markets across regions in the US
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, regulatory policies, and competitive landscape to identify market opportunities
  • Assist in developing market segmentation strategies based on demographic, economic, and environmental factors
  • Generate detailed reports and presentations summarizing market analysis findings for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted lead generation campaigns
  • Support the identification and qualification of potential customers through data-driven analysis
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of sales processes and strategies
  • Participate in customer meetings to help educate them on the chosen design
  • Any other job duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Must be pursuing a business, computer science or engineering related degree
  • Experienced in data analytics and data mining.
  • Must understand solar photovoltaic technology
  • Must be passionate about the renewable energy business, hardworking, independent, and thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
  • Proven problem-solving record desired
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity, and a penchant for high quality
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of self-accountability
  • Excellent organizational skills: proficient with MS Excel spreadsheets and data management
