The Youth Passion Project is seeking a Software Manager to assist in the Technology Department. Responsibilities are listed below. Candidates should be freshman, sophomores, juniors, or seniors in high school for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Software Manager is responsible for assisting in the Youth Passion Project’s Technology Department. They are primarily responsible for:
Working with the YPP Website to ensure an easily accessible website for its viewers and connect it with data from our web portal
Being able to quickly revise any website bugs or to update new information
Managing the registration system for students
Working closely with the Vice President of Administration & President of the Project
We encourage all applicants to meet the criteria below:
At least 1 year of coding experience
Experience with web development (Wix, WordPress, Weebly, etc.)
Preliminary knowledge of Javascript
Experience with Google Sheets
Basic understanding of Google App Scripts (we do not expect complete mastery of this)
