Software Integration Engineer

We are The Pump People! National Pump Company is a Glendale, AZ headquartered manufacturer of a complete line of vertical line shaft turbine and submersible pumps for the municipal, residential, petroleum, agricultural, and industrial commercial markets. We have five (5) additional build and service locations throughout the United States to meet the needs of our customers.

This role is intended to achieve software integration between our sales/quoting software and inventory management software. Candidates must have job history with CPQ – Configure Price Quote, which is the Infor Cloud Configurator. Inventory experience with a manufacturer is required. Additionally, experience with Syteline, Cloud Suite Industrial and/or Revalize software preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the research, design, development, analysis, testing, and implementation of software operating or application systems.

• Meets with project manager to gain understanding of project requirements, goals, timeframes, and software purposes.
• Analyze existing systems and infrastructure to determine upgrade needs and integration possibilities.
• Combine subsystems into cohesive units to better support business objectives.
• Analyzes results and provides solutions to solve problems.
• Debugs programs as necessary.
• Writes complete and accurate documentation for software for software users and IT maintenance personnel.
• Follows established company policies and procedures in all phases of software development.

Education/Certification

B.A. or B.S. Degree in computer science or related degree preferred or

Experience with Infor, or Revalize

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in an IT-related role, preferably with leadership responsibilities
• Experience with project management and product and software development
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Physical Activities and Requirements of this Position

Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally.

Working Conditions

A home typical office. Travel up to 5%.
