Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer you are responsible for assisting in the design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
Location: Carlisle Barracks Pennsylvania
Required Clearance: Secret
Required Education: HSD or GED, Web-Application certs, IAT 2
Required Experience: 3+ (3+) years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage-plan-oversee application-web database support: develop-maintain web pages
Proficient in web dev/design software applications-content management techniques such as ColdFusion Application
Server Admin, MS Internet Information Server, .Net, SharePoint Portal Online/Power Platform (Power Apps
Power Automate, Power BI), React, Angular JS, Google Analytics and emerging technologies
Experience in developing computer software code
Experience in a variety of software programming languages
Experience in designing, testing, debugging and documenting software
Requirements:
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Understanding of basic software development concepts and practices
Write, test, and debug code for software applications, following established coding standards
Work closely with senior developers and other team members to understand project requirements and contribute to the development process
Assist in analyzing software requirements and developing solutions to address identified needs
Conduct unit testing and support the testing of software applications to ensure quality and reliability
Participate in code reviews to gain insights into best practices and improve coding skills
Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members
Follow established coding and development standards to maintain code consistency and quality
Preferred Qualifications: Assoc or Tech degree preferred (not required)
