Our client is looking for a Secret Cleared Software Engineer with extensive experience in software design, development, integration, testing and analysis in order to build network protocols for tactical systems.
This position is hybrid, candidates must live within a 100 mi radius of Lexington, MA. Candidates must hold an Active Secret security clearance.
Required Skills
Bachelor Degree
5+ years of C++ Software Development/Engineering experience on Linux systems
Developer should thrive in a rapid-prototyping environment with fast design-debug cycles.
Experience running tests utilizing the Common Open Research Emulator is required.
A strong background in software development of IP routing protocols as well as multicast, and socket programming is required.
Development experience in a native Linux environment is required.
Experience in network protocol design, network performance monitoring
In Addition, Experience In The Following Areas Is Preferred
Experience in military or DoD wireless communications
Experience in network modeling and simulation using NS3
Experience in radio communications concepts (software-de�?ned radios, MAC, physical layer, RF)
Linux kernel networking and Linux OS networking con�?guration experience is preferred.
