Software Developer

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Software Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily developing server side applications in Java and/or C#
• Work on projects to integrate Tradition's trading and back-office systems with exchanges, clients and other 3rd parties
• Manage such projects independently, including liaising with both external clients and internal teams
• Join a development team spread across offices internationally
• Be involved in the continual enhancement and evolution of core services and the platform's service oriented architecture

Requirements:

• Looking 3 + years of experience
• Minimum 3 years server-side software development in Java and/or C#
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL
• Strong java- backend-
• Server side- Linux- team is also using eclipse
• GIT/ CICD pipelines would be a plus
• Financial markets - derivative products in particular
• FIX Protocol 9comes with financial markets exp)
• Experience working with XML, including XSL transformations- not popular but could be learning
• JSON / REST
• SOA / Micro-services
• Git version control
• US Citizen - W2 only
