Mavi is seeking a Social Strategy Manager to join their Marketing team in Manhattan, NY.


As the Social Strategy Manager, US you will be tasked with bringing the Mavi brand to life through engaging social content, working closely with our creative, product, and e-commerce teams on ideation and execution.


The ideal candidate will be on the pulse of innovation and cultural relevance within the social media landscape, with a passion for content creation and all things social.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications on the strategy and creation of organic social content for Mavi North America, 34 Heritage, Brooklyn Industries, and General Denim Works.
  • Create socially conversant creative that engages and grows our community, aligning with marketing initiatives across channels and grounded in industry insights and trends.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to plan, capture, and edit social-first content leveraging campaign and e-commerce shoots, retail, UGC content, influencers, existing assets, and more
  • Plan and maintain a proactive organic social content calendar.
  • Grow our US influencer network with talent that aligns with our brand voice, collaborating on campaigns that drive engagement and audience growth.
  • Use industry insights, consumer insights, benchmark trends, and competitive reporting to steer ideation and testing of social content.
  • Maintain creative synergy with email and performance marketing channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with e-commerce, product, sales, and the larger marketing team.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in social management in the US for a fashion brand or publication.
  • Deep knowledge of social and influencer trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience directly creating engaging, high-performing social content with a distinct brand voice.
  • Experience managing and working with US influencers of all follower levels.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit to create new processes and implement new strategies.
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to write in an engaging, conversational style for social.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative eye implementing our brand’s aesthetic.
  • Ability to work hybrid from NYC, NY.
