Sundae School NY team is looking for an intern who will aid the Social Content team in concepting and creating video content from pre-production to post. This person is interested and has experience creating social & video content, strives for excellence within a fast-paced Fashion and Cannabis environment and a self-motivator who can generate ideas for projects independently and collaboratively.
In this role, you will leverage your skills to assist the Social Content team. We're looking for someone with a strong initiative and a "how can I help" mentality, and the willingness to support the team where needed. The primary day-to-day tasks will be assisting the Social Content team in ideating content, shooting and editing. This is a Full-Time position at our NY office in LES.
Key Deliverables And Responsibilities:
Concepting: Take part in creative brainstorming, pitch ideas and stay abreast of current trends
Pre-production: Contribute to video pitch decks, provide video inspiration & references and create visual treatments, shot lists and scripts if needed
Shooting: Experience shooting content via iPhone
Editing: Work closely with the content team to gather, organize and edit content from recorded material
Community management on Instagram and TikTok - engaging with our audience
Sourcing on-brand content in the worlds of our collections from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest & beyond
Ability to react to feedback quickly and efficiently
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
Per state law, you must be at least 21 years of age
Passion for social media and a deep understanding on Instagram & TikTok
Self-motivator who can generate ideas for projects independently and collaboratively
Ability to work on multiple projects at once
Thorough knowledge of production pipeline
Strong cross functional communication skills
Must be fluent in written and spoken English (Reading, Writing, & Speaking)
Would Love to Have:
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite - preferably Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut
Experience with shooting on iPhone
Experience with industry standard equipment (DSLR cameras, mics, audio recorders, lighting, grip etc)
Experience working within a wide range of video styles: editorial, documentary, commercial, narrative, event coverage etc
Experience with editing and exporting best practices (codecs, aspect ratios etc)
